West Texas born composer Harlan Hodges writes, and arranges music that blends the lush harmonic language of jazz and vibrant melodies of the Hollywood Golden Age. Harlan was the 2019 recipient of theDavid Rose Award through the ASCAP Foundation, a finalist for the 2018 American Prize in compositionfor his work Three American Etudes for solo piano, and is an alumnus of the 2019 ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop, SESAC Scores Composer Workshop, GRAMMY NEXT Program, and the SCL Mentors. He also composed the music for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge (2019) for Disney theme parks.
