As an aspiring singer, songwriter, and actress Jordyn Simone has been developing, refining, and honing her talent ever since began to sing in her Youth Gospel choir at the age of 5. Born into a musical household, Jordyn found inspiration to sing through her father and mother, both musicians.

Jordyn developed her aspiration for musical theatre at the age of 7 when she became a member of the Amazing Grace Conservatory (AGC), a Los Angeles based performing arts training program that specializes in acting, voice, and dance. At the age of 12, she received her first starring role in AGC's production of Wicked, competing against 17 and 18-year-olds in the process.

Jordyn is currently a student at the prestigious Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. As a member of the Vocal Jazz Ensemble, she has performed at multiple iconic venues throughout California. In March 2015, 2016 and 2017, she competed in the Next Generation Jazz Festival where over 1,300 of the nation’s top student musicians and vocal groups performed. While her jazz ensemble won first place in the competition, Simone received the “Top Artist Award” all three years.

Jordyn was a Top 50 finalist on American Idol’s The Farewell Season in 2016. Since the show, she has developed a passion for songwriting and creating her own material as an emerging songwriter. She is a regular at the OC Hit Factory recording studio, where she collaborates and works with other upcoming artists and producers.

Jordyn contributes to her community through servitude and mentoring of youth that are interested in pursuing creative talents at White Hall Arts Academy. As alumni, she has exhibited her vocal stylings and produced cover songs by Chris Brown, Miley Cyrus, Meghan Trainer, and Tori Kelly. In 2014, she was selected by Ryan Seacrest Productions to participate in a “Best Cover Contest” for Katy Perry’s hit song “Dark Horse” which attracted 90,000 views on YouTube. As a result, her social media followers continue to grow.
